Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and (optionally) passkeys.
• Pregnancy details you enter: dates used to calculate your due date, mom's first name and birthday.
• Things you log: wellbeing entries, checklist progress, action items, appointments and poll votes.
• Step counts from Apple Health, only if you choose to connect it (see below).
• Basic security logs such as sign-in time and IP address.

Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you connect Apple Health in the iPhone app, Journey280 reads your daily step count only. We never write to Apple Health and never read any other health data. Daily step totals are stored with your pregnancy so the people you have invited (for example your partner) can see them. Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties. You can revoke access at any time in the iPhone Settings app → Health → Data Access & Devices.

Notifications

Water, exercise, appointment and action-item reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. Reminder settings stay on your device.

Who can see your data

Only you and the people you invite to your pregnancy (mom, dad, family, midwife) can see its data. Mom can keep her wellbeing journal private. We use trusted providers to run the service (hosting on Vercel, database on Turso, email via Resend) who process data only on our behalf.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account. This permanently removes your account and the data linked to it.
